A yomp in the countryside raises cash for soldiers' charity
Three St Andrews men took on a gruelling challenge last weekend '“ covering 54 miles in 24 hours '“ and raised more than £2000 for the Army Benevolent Fund '“ the Soldiers' Charity.
Colin Henderson (53), John McBride (56) and Graeme Cunningham (43) were competing in the Cateran Yomp.
Yomp is the military term for a long-distance march and the event covered the Cateran Trail in Blairgowrie and Glenshee areas.

Hide AdThe trio, entered as the Stompers, had trained tirelessly in the months leading up to the weekend, regularly undertaking large sections of the Fife Coastal Path.
They completed the course in 22hrs 28mins.
Friends Gary Ovenstone and Ewan Walker acted as the support team.
