Fife station to broadcast Radio Pride

Kirkcaldy’s Community Radio station, K107fm is to broadcast UK Radio Pride on Thursday.

The one-hour programme starts at 9:00pm.

With Pride events across the country and including Fife cancelled due to the pandemic, UK Radio Pride united the country’s three LGBT+ radio stations and engaged listeners through a series of broadcast events including live music, debates, comedy, community-led profiles, DJ mixes and remembrance.

K107fm UK Radio Pride is a one-hour highlights compilation of a virtual LGBT pride. It includes special performances from Billy Porter, Bright Light Bright Light, Ella Henderson and Beverley Knight.

Gok Wan hosts a discussion about the future of Pride, while veteran gay activist ,Peter Tatchell, looks back at how it all started.
