This month a kiosk will be set up for the summer outside the fishmarket in the East Neuk town selling seafood freshly landed at the harbour.

The stand, which will be run by fishmonger George Allan, is the idea of Fife Fishermen’s Mutual Association (Pittenweem) Ltd, and on offer will be langoustine, crabs, lobster, mackerel and prawn tails.

It will be open on the last two weekends in June, every day in July and August and the first two weekends in September.
