The four piece band – from Templehall and Galton – are excited to be playing their first Kirkcaldy date.

Guitarist and vocalist Darren Forbes said: “This one will be unreal. We’ve a loyal fanbase who follow us to gigs all over the country since day one, I’m sure this gig will be absolutely packed.”

Although more used to playing in Dunfermline where they feel there is more of a scene for their style of dreamy indie rock they admit that it will ‘be really good to finally play our hometown’.

Formed in the summer of 2015 the band have already created quite a buzz and despite their lack of appearances, they have already bagged support slots with English alternative indie dance band The Sunshine Underground and Scottish indie darlings The View who they supported at Rothes Halls in June. “It was amazing, we’ve all went to View gigs together for years and seen them play festivals in front of massive crowds. So to play with them was a dream,” Darren finished.

Shambolics will play The Windsor on December 3 – to buy tickets www.ticketweb.co.uk/artist/shambolics-tickets/973417.
