Capturing memories of the golden days of motoring, the initial interest has been very encouraging already, with over 100 cars and exhibits planned to come along.

And Fife Heritage Railway has recently completed an extension to its ‘arena’, and hopes to showcase the very best in preserved vehicles from the last century. The Kirkland Yard will also be open to the public, who will have the chance to see the engines and coaches up close and of course, have a ride on the famous River Eden.

A spokesman said: “We would love the general public, our members, their friends and family to come along. With cars, vans, lorries and motorbikes and our very own steam train on show, it’s sure to be a fun day out.”

The rally runs at the Kirkland Yard, within Burnmill Industrial Estate (follow the brown tourist signs) between 10.30am and 4pm this Sunday, June 26.
