Picture special: Christmas cheer as Methilhill kids thrive in the '˜Dragon's Den'
P1-P5 pupils from Methilhill Primary School recently spent a week designing, marketing and producing their very own Christmas themed business ideas as part of a unique ‘Dragon’s Den’ type event.
And, in a similar fashion to those business hopefuls who pitch their ideas to a panel of potential investors on the hit BBC television programme of the same name, the youngsters showed they had nerves of steel as they presented their wares to judging panel made up of Fife business leaders.

“And they fully embraced that and took it forward, resulting in a final pitch to local business representatives from the likes of Sainsburys and RBS.
“It’s been a fantastic learning opportunity for the youngsters and were highly praised for their efforts, originality and strength of ideas.”
Certainly the school has sent out a message to those in the business world that there could soon be some stiff competition coming from Fife.
