The event which took place in the atrium at Fife College proved to be a hit with the public who turned up in large numbers to watch demonstrations and walk round the stalls offering a huge variety of food and drink.

Suzie Hall, co-ordinator for Kirkcaldy 4 All who organised the fair, said the kids workshops had perhaps been the most popular of all.

“So it was great to see the engagement with the youngsters who were really keen to get involved.

“We were very pleased with the turnout and when we have the support of the public like that it means we can justify putting these sorts of events on.

We already have a few good ideas of how to make it even better so hopefully we can do it again next year.”
