The event, organised by Fife Employment Access Trust (FEAT) in conjunction with Positive Revolution, was a huge success during its inaugural year in 2015, and organisers are hoping this year will be just as good.

The park will play host to a plethora of bands, including Levenmouth rockers Break the Butterfly, local singer/songwriter Cody Feechan, SUPA & Da Kryptonites, Shambolics and Sauza Kings in what promises to be a fantastic afternoon and evening of entertainment.

There will also be speakers from a number of local causes, helping to promote the work being done in the local community.

And if music isn’t your thing, there are still plenty of activities going on all day at the park, which is still free to enter.

Families can enjoy arts and crafts and fun activities throughout the park, with food and drink also on offer.

The event has been organised to raise funds for the continued improvement of the park and to forward its use as a centre for mental health well-being in Fife.

Not only can people enjoy live music, there is also a huge festival prize draw too.

Prizes have been donated by companies across Scotland, including Ryze trampoline park, Action Zone in Leven, Adventure Golf Island, M&Ds, Green Hotel and more.

The festival takes place on Saturday (August 13) from 12pm to 9pm. Although online ticket sales have now closed, you can get your tickets (£10 in advance or £14 on the door) at Silverburn Cottage No. 3, FEAT’s office in Glenrothes or Mcphails in Leven.

For more information on the line up and the amazing prizes to be won, search ‘Silverburn Festival’ on Facebook.
