Being served up this year is a line-up containing a chocolate attraction, a series of street food pop-ups, producers’ markets, top chefs, including MasterChef The Professionals 2014 winner Jamie Scott, and the now iconic lunch at the harbour.

Now in its sixth year, the festival has become a big highlight of local calendar and takes place over the weekend of June 10-12.

The programme includes music events, evening dinners, indoor and outdoor markets, all with good, local food at the heart.

The festival started back in 2011 with a few stalls and this year there will be events happening in 11 different venues and Sunday’s lunch at the harbour draws massive crowds. There will also be a producers’ market, cookery theatre and chef tasting session.

Another feature this year is the Chocolate Larder, at which some of the finest chocolatiers will be led by Iain Burnett, of The Highland Chocolatier shop in St Andrews.

Brought together by chocolate enthusiast Julie Collier, a bespoke chocolate pavilion will be created to allow visitors to talk to the makers, taste and buy some of the best artisan chocolate products Scotland.

Full details of the programme and instructions on how to book for events can be found at www.crailfoodfest.co.uk.
