Hide AdAnyone aged between 11 years old (current P7) up to 17 years old (current fifth year) is welcome to attend and show off their skills. This will be a fun workshop and no solo auditioning will be required.
The musical theatre usually has around 40 children, and rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings in the Old Parish Centre throughout term time, starting at the end of March.
Nearer to the time of the November show, rehearsals also take place on Sunday afternoons in the Corn Exchange in Cupar.
At CYMT, the ethos is to enable young people (11–17 years old, P7- S5) from Cupar and the surrounding area to become involved in all aspects of theatre work, including drama, singing, dance, presentation, scenery, make-up and costumes. Productions are presented annually in Cupar Corn Exchange and are attended by all age groups, providing local theatre in an area where availability is limited.
