Learn about the stones of St Andrews
GeoHeritage Fife, a local charity devoted to extolling the virtues of Fife's geological diversity, is organising a guided walk around St Andrews to explore the nature and variety of stones used in selected buildings in the town.
The tour will start at the West Port at 2pm on Sunday and will last about one-and-a-half hours.
Walking will be on pavements and clothing should be appropriate for the weather conditions.
