Unique works by Central Fife Artists Collective on display in Kirkcaldy exhibition
Art work by members of Central Fife Artists’ Collective will be on display in Kirkcaldy this weekend as part of a special exhibition.
The collective – which is the group behind the annual Central Fife open studios event – have created some unique works of art for the exhibition at the Adam Smith Theatre on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3.

The event will see the group of artists launch their first ever Central Fife Artist Collective Directory – a handy sized booklet replacing their open studios brochures as a handy year-round reference.
The collective gives professional artists, makers and designers the opportunity to show their work to the public and celebrate the wealth of creativity in this part of the Kingdom.

Membership stretches from Inverkeithing and North Queensferry in the west to Glenrothes and Lower Largo in the east.
The artists create a range of diverse work using many mediums including textiles, jewellery, painting, furniture, ceramics, glass, printmaking and photography.
In addition to the regular Central Fife collective’s open studios, which take place over the first two weekends in September, this latest exhibition provides an opportunity for local artists to showcase their work.
The exhibition will be held in the Advantage Suite at the Bennochy Road theatre from 10am to 4pm this Saturday and Sunday.

There will also be several creative workshops on offer.
Several of the collective’s artists have also been involved in the Wemyssware Cat Art Trail which is currently on show around the town.
The collective also have other events planned later this including pop ups featuring a variety of the artists in the Kirkcaldy Galleries, and a Christmas Art Market including creative workshops at the Adam Smith Theatre at the start of December.
