Waid are tops in literacy quiz

This is the third time in seven years that Waid has triumphed and the winning team were all S2 pupils – Ben Black, Jude Bright, Daniel Hesk and Rosie Singleton.

Runners up were also S2 pupils – Fiona Hesk, Ian McKie, Hamish Noble and Baillie Stephen.

Schools participating included Inverkeithing, St Columba’s, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Balwearie and Levenmouth.

In total, 18 teams took part, including two all-comers’ teams and a staff team (they did get highest marks, but it was only for fun!).
