A special open day is being held from 10am to give former pupils, staff, volunteers and parents the opportunity to have a walk down memory lane.

All visitors on the day will be asked to join a tour group – access to the school will be by tour only – with the final tour beginning at 4.15pm.

As well as the tours, there is also an exhibition, ‘Down Memory Lane’, which you can view.

Visitors are reminded that corridors are narrow and not suitable for prams and buggies, and the whole tour is around a mile long with lots of stairs.

Light refreshments will be on offer and you can even buy a piece of memoribillia to keep forever, including BHS hoodies and mugs.

There will be designated parking, with over-flow parking too – visitors are reminded not to park next to the railings or at the front of the building in case of a fire emergency.

Can’t make it along to the tour? The third and final showcase event, with presentations from the art, music and drama departments and former pupils, will take place between 7pm and 9pm. Tickets are available on the door and cost £5.
