Leo Stewart, of Melrose Crescent, was not in Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court when his case called before Sheriff Jamie Gilchrist on Thursday.

Stewart (24) admitted that on August 14, 2019 at his home address in Melrose Crescent in the town, he intentionally obstructed five police officers in the execution of their duty by shouting, swearing, uttering threats of violence, lashing out with his arms and legs and resisting the application of handcuffs.

Sheriff Gilchrist opted to fine Stewart £500 for the offence.
