A man has been arrested after an incident last night which saw emergency services in the area of a Kirkcaldy park.

It is understood at least two police vans and two Special Operations Response Team (SORT) ambulances were in attendance near Ravenscraig Park late last night.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers attended at Church Street, Kirkcaldy at 9.20pm on Thursday, 4 March following concerns for a person. He was arrested and taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment."
