Police nab drivers doing 80mph and 100mph on Fife roads

A driver has been caught by police doing over 80mph on a road with a 40mph speed limit.

It happened on Queensferry Road, Dunfermline on Wednesday.

Fife Police said the 24-year old man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with road traffic offences.

In another incident, officers stopped a 61-year-old man driving on the A92 Lochgelly to Kirkcaldy road in west Fife.

He was driving more than 100mph in a 70mph limit.

He is also subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
