Plans to build six new flats in Kirkcaldy have been lodged with Fife Council.

If approved, it would transform waste ground in Maria Street into a building of six two-bedroom flats.

The site was previously used for commercial premises.

The street sits close to Victoria Road and is a popular residential area.

Councillors will consider his application at a later date.
