Locke delighted to secure Jackson as his Raith number two
Jackson has been out of the game since losing his coaching position at Dundee United following the sacking of Jackie McNamara last September.
Locke told the Press: “I’m absolutely delighted with the appointment.

Hide Ad“I’ve known Darren for a long time – we played at Hearts together and kept in touch for a number of years.
“He’s somebody I would have considered taking to Kilmarnock but he was at Dundee United at the time.
“I’m over the moon to get him in.”
Jackson had a successful playing career that included 28 Scotland caps, and a championship medal with Celtic.
“He has a huge amount of qualities,” Locke added. “You just have tot look at his career for a start.

“The players won’t need any introduction to him and I’m sure they will love working with him.”
