Another magic weekend for Kirkcaldy Wizards athletes
At Kirkcaldy Parkrun, Thomas Gambino finished in first place with a rapid time of 17:50 which was also a Parkrun PB.
Gordon Lawson took second with a speedy time of 18:56.
Wizards occupied five of the top 10 positions with fifth, sixth and ninth place finishes for George MacLeod (21:01), Graeme Syme (21:05) and Jimmy McIntyre (21:31).

Hide AdIn addition to this, Michelle Johnstone finished as first female with a time of 23:04, which also saw her place 18th overall.
It was a landmark parkrun for Chris Payne, who was celebrating his 100th such event.
There was also a parkrun PB for Nina Lawson.
Elsewhere in the Kingdom of Fife, seven Wizards made the trip to Craigtoun Park for St Andrews Parkrun.
Nick Brian (24:58), Jim O'Neill (27:11), James Paterson (27:29), Fiona Walker (28:07), Selina Skivington (28:17), Karen Richards ( 28:18) and Iain Hawkins ( 32:08) were all in Wizarding action.

Hide AdThere were also five Wizards running at Lochore Meadows Parkrun, Mark Gowans ( 25:23), Kim Izatt (27:33), Tim Nicholson (28:48), Lynn Godsell (30:33) and Shona Turner (31:55).
David Shepherd (26:18) was the lone Wizard representative at Loch Leven Parkrun.
Further afield, Kieran Forsyth ( 25:28) and Claire Jurecki (32:10) travelled to Aberdeen for Hazlehead Parkrun.
Andy Harley took advantage of being in the West of Scotland for the Cumbernauld cross-country to tick off another parkrun from his bucket list.

Hide AdAlthough Andy ran an easier parkrun by his standards to save his legs for the cross-country relay later in the day, he still ran a respectable time of 23:27 which saw him place 14th.
At the Cumbernauld Cross-Country Championships, there were Wizards participating in Fife AC teams in both the Junior/Senior Men's category and the Master's Men's category. Andy Harley and Ben Kinninmonth joined an impressive Fife AC team also comprised of Fife AC athletes Sam Fernando and Russell Hall.
Kinninmonth ran the 4.5km cross country course in a blisteringly quick time of 14:48.
Harley also put in an impressive showing, with a time of 17:00.

Hide AdCombined with the efforts of Russell Hall (14:20) and Sam Fernando ( 13:35), the Fife AC B team clocked a combined total of 59:41, which saw them finish as the 49th team in a field of 122.
There was also representation in the Masters Men's event, with Wizards Sean Brown and Rory Sandilands joining Fife AC comrades James Hall and Mike MacDonald.
Rory Sandilands put in a jet heeled showing, with a time of 16:14.
Also running strongly was Sean Brown, who completed the course in 18:06.

Hide AdThere were also excellent performances by team-mates James Hall ( 15:52) and Mike MacDonald ( 15:57), which saw the team finish with a combined total of 1:06:08.
As a result, the Fife AC team finished an impressive 12th out of 30 teams in the Masters category.
In the Women's 10k, Linzi Shand put in an excellent performance to run a 47:47 personal best time at the 10k distance.
There was also superb performances for lady team-mates Jenni Alexander and Lindsay Quinn, who ran impressive times of 49:22 and 52:38 respectively.

Hide AdAnother super group of ladies travelled through from the Wizards. Susan Young ( 56:18), Claire Cane ( 58:05), Nicky McGregor ( 58:44), Julie Callaghan ( 1:00:48), Wendy McCormack (1:02:57), Ainsley Dryburgh ( 1:03:06) and Jacqueline Cook ( 1:04:26) all represented proudly and put in superb performances.
This was an especially impressive performance by McGregor who achieved a 10k PB and has completed another remarkable milestone on her running journey since she graduated from the couch to 5k class of 2021 just under a year ago.
There were also some impressive performances in the Men's 10k. Stuart Goodfellow put in an impressive performance to complete the course in 47:35.
Kevin McNab achieved a 10k PB, dipping under the sub 48 marker to record a superb 47:58 time.

Hide AdThere was also a landmark achievement for Graham Keddie, who recorded a time of 55:37 which saw him take a whopping two minutes and 37 seconds off his previous best time at this distance.
Mike Roy put in a strong performance with a time of 1:07:03.
Michelle Johnstone and Lee Cessford travelled to Dunkeld and ran in the 5km Craig O'Barns hill race, which has a climb of 340m.
It was a strong showing by both, with Cessford placing in 16th with a time of 46:13 and Johnstone crossing the finish line in 46:54 in 19th position.
