In pictures: Snow scenes in Kirkcaldy
Winter bared its teeth as heavy snow showers covered Kirkcaldy and the rest of Fife in a blanket of snow.
Trains and buses were cancelled, schools and colleges closed and people advised not to journey out unless really necessary.
But as these pictures from George McLuskie show, people were still able to get out and enjoy the late winter weather.
