I’m a vertical specialist editor at National World, leading a growing team of specialist reporters writing content across the company’s portfolio.

I joined National World in 2019 as a trainee live reporter at the Yorkshire Evening Post, going on to be named the NCTJ’s Trainee of the Year after completing my NQJ qualification. Most recently the title’s lifestyle specialist, I carved out a niche in the food and drink sector as well as providing newsdesk cover. I was the editorial lead for the Oliver Awards and have enjoyed a varied reporting career, from catching up with some of Leeds’ biggest stars, like Tom Zanetti and Mel B, to launching a campaign on tackling knife crime.

Outside of work - when I’m not eating my way through Leeds’ restaurants - I’m a keen yogi and would love to complete my yoga teacher training one day.
