Fife town set to light up the sky with spectacular first ever drone show
The skies above Fife are set to light up with the Kingdom’s first ever drone show.
Leven Community Council with support from the Rotary Club of Leven are fundraising to put on the Levenmouth Drone Show on Saturday, November 7.
A total of 200 drones will take to the sky and put on a spectacular choreographed display of colour and movement.
The Community Council aims to bring all the magic and excitement of a fireworks display, without the loud bangs, to create a family‑friendly evening that celebrates community spirit and wellbeing - and to bring an accessible, pet‑friendly and environmentally conscious event to Levenmouth.

Michael Morris, treasurer, said: “We wanted to give Leven something a little bit different this Guy Fawkes.
“No bangs, no smoke and no worrying about the dog hiding under the sofa! Instead, we’re going to light up the sky with 200 drones and put on a spectacular show that the whole family can enjoy.
“With a fun fair, food, entertainment and a few drinks available at the bar, there’s something for everyone.
"Most importantly, it’s about bringing the community together and giving everyone a reason to look up, smile and say, ‘Wow!’.
“We’re hoping to make Leven’s night in the sky one to remember.”
You can help support the event which begins at 6.30pm, by making a donation at the Levenmouth Drone Show JustGiving page. The Community Council is also on the lookout for volunteers and sponsorship.
