St Andrews Links Trust offers Free festive lunch and hamper deliveries for Fife residents at risk of loneliness.

St Andrews Links Trust is proud to announce the launch of Festive Links, a new community initiative designed to bring comfort, companionship and wellbeing to individuals across Fife who may be experiencing loneliness during the festive season.

Inspired by the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) Trust’s successful ‘Festive Friends’ programme, Festive Links will offer a complimentary three-course Christmas lunch at the Tom Morris Bar & Grill for up to 50 guests at the Home of Golf, alongside the delivery of festive hampers to members of the community who are unable to attend in person.

The initiative is open to anyone living in Fife who may be at risk of social isolation and nominations by local organisations or members of the public are welcomed. By creating opportunities for connection and inclusion, the Trust aims to support those who may otherwise spend the festive period alone.

The Festive Links lunch will take place on Monday 22 December 2025, from 12pm to 3pm, at the St Andrews Links Clubhouse, Tom Morris Bar & Grill. Guests will enjoy a complimentary three-course festive meal complete with drinks, tea, coffee and mince pies.

Festive hampers will be delivered on 22 and 23 December to those nominated who would benefit from support but cannot attend the lunch in person.

Laurie Watson, Director of Engagement at St Andrews Links Trust, said: “Loneliness is something that affects many people, especially at this time of year.

The introduction of Festive Links provides an opportunity for us to open our doors and offer a welcoming space to people in Fife who might otherwise spend the festive season alone.

Whether it’s sharing a meal or receiving a small gesture of kindness through a hamper, our aim is to ensure our community feels valued and supported, knowing they always have a place at the Home of Golf.”
