Craigtoun Country Park will be celebrating all creatures great and small this Saturday.

‘Pets in the Park’ is a free event run by Friends of Craigtoun running from 10.30am-5pm.

Among the attractions on the day will be the Animal Man Petting Zoo from noon until 3.30pm where visitors will find a variet of mammals, birds and insects all under the supervision of expert animal handlers.

Clatto Clan Flyball Club will also be in attendance throughout the event and will be conducting 20-minute formal demonstrations at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

Flyball is a fast-paced dog sport, where the dog will race over four hurdles and collect a tennis ball from the Flyball box and return to handler.

All attractions are free, but there are two ticketed events, with spaces still available for Pony Pamper Sessions with Alba Therapy Ponies.

Also in the Event Arena you will find a number of animal-related businesses selling pet supplies and crafts and charities raising funds and awareness for their causes.
