Fife vaccine bus link cancelled as wintry weather hits roads

A bus link to take elderly people for their COVID vaccinations has been cancelled because of the wintry weather.

The FifeBus transport was taken off the road today (Wednesday) and won’t run on Thursday.

NHS Fife hopes to resume services on Friday if road conditions improve.

Its dispatch team has contacted all passengers who were due to use the buses to travel to the region’s network of vaccination centres.

It apologised for any inconvenience, and said a decision on its return would be made tomorrow.
