Carlo his target in TV challenge

Carlo Finucci, Fife Flyers, appearing on Got For It on ITV

The forward appeared on Go For It, the Saturday night game show on STV.

He took part in a challenge to see how many pucks he could shoot through a target in just 60 seconds.

Carlo’s total of 14 bettered that set by Nottingham Panthers’ defenceman Sam Oakford, so he walked off with the £1000 prize.

It was filmed earlier this month and broadcast on Saturday night as Carlo, and his team-mates, ironically, couldn’t find the net at all in a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Manchester Storm.

Carlo said “It was an awesome experience as a whole. From the ITV crew coming to Kirkcaldy to do some filming all the way to flying down to London for the rehearsals and live filming. It was a great way to promote ice hockey and Fife Flyers on national television.’’
