In truth you could pick any of Marra’s gigs in Fife over the years – from folk clubs to theatres and back again.

No-one generated the same warmth on stage as Michael as he introduced his beautiful songs with wry tales, true stories and anecdotes soaked in the spirit of his beloved Dundee.

A wordsmith, a wonderful singer and gentle man, Marra’s music painted a vivid picture of the people, and characters, that had helped shape his life.

He is sorely missed.
