A Fife man who admitted taking or making indecent images of children has been placed under supervision on a Community Payback Order for three years.

Logan Chapman, of Allan Park, Hill of Beath appeared before Sheriff James Williamson at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Chapman, 22, admitted admitted taking or making indecent images of children at an address in Cowdenbeath between February 1, 2018 and June 17 last year.

Sheriff Williamson placed Chapman under supervision for three years on a Community Payback Order.

He also issued a number of conditions for Chapman to adhere to including: Not to have contact with any children under the age of 16 with the exception of his younger siblings and that he must also allow any devices he possesses which are capable of accessing the internet to be checked by both police and the social work department and not delete their browsing history.

He was placed on the sex offenders register for three years.
