Methil man behaved in an aggressive manner at town shop

A Methil man who admitted behaving in an aggressive manner at a town shop and struggled violently with police has been placed on a restriction of liberty order for eight months.

William Vanbeck, of Wellesley Road, appeared before Sheriff Jamie Gilchrist at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Vanbeck, 41, admitted that on July 10 this year at RS McColls in Wellesley Road, Methil he behaved in a threatening manner by acting aggressively and uttering derogatory comments.
