A Methil man who breached bail conditions by sending text messages to a woman has had his sentence deferred until July 30.

Adam Stevens, of Kirkland Road, appeared before Sheriff Kevin Veal at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Stevens, 40, admitted that having been granted bail on the condition not to approach or contact a woman in any way between June 12 and June 15, 2021, did at an address in Methilhaven Road, Buckhaven, fail to comply as he sent text messages to the woman’s landline telephone.
