Cupar folk given chance to spend £15K on town

A public voting event to decide how to spend £15,000 in the Cupar area and create a fairer Fife will be held this Saturday in the Corn Exchange Building.

Over the past few months the council has been asking local community groups to come up with ideas which will make Cupar area a thriving place and reduce inequalities.

Now eight ideas have made the shortlist and a voting event is to be held this week.

Community Manager Janice Laird is encouraging as many people as possible to come along and have their say: “We want to help create a fairer Fife for everyone. This initiative aims to involve people in finding local solutions and deciding how public funding is spent in their area.”
