Burntisland fish bar donates £1300 to Cancer Research

A generous lockdown fundraiser has boosted a key charity.

Romano's Fish Bar in Burntisland has raised £1300 for Cancer Research UK.

The popular chip shop raised the funds in March just before lockdown started by selling raffle tickets and holding a tombola.

Mary Lynch, chairman of the Burntisland Cancer Research UK Committee said: “As a committee, we are very proud of the support given by the community, as we are all aware cancer impacts on many lives within our community.”
