Macindoe Crescent:
William Macindoe was a solicitor with Gibson & Spears and his office was in Tolbooth Street.
He was also a part-time town clerk of Kirkcaldy for 38 years and did much for the progress of the town.

Bandon Avenue:
There used to be a Bandon Stream in the area, a Bandon Watering Place and a Bandon Park.
There is a school of thought which suggests the name was connected to the Laird of Bandone whose name appears in the Presbyterie Book of Kirkcaldy 1630-1645. Photo: na

Baillie John Meldrum was a member of Kirkcaldy Town Council in 1876.

Lansbury Street:
It bears the name of a prominent politician but not one with immediately obvious links to the town.
George Lansbury was an English MP who went on to lead the Labour Party from 1931-35.
