Kirkcaldy's Wetherspoons pub gets green light for pavement seating

A pub in Kirkcaldy town centre has been given the go-ahead to put tables and chairs on the pavement.

The Wetherspoons-operated Robert Nairn pub in Kirk Wynd can now serve drinks outdoors.

Fife Council approved its planning application for tables on the main pavement in the conservation area. They can be used until April 2021.

The company said the area would be staffed, and all drinks ordered and delivered its app.

One condition of approval stipulated that no music could be played.
