He said: “There’s a lot to love about Fife, and I’ve always been proud to come from here.

“It’s somewhere that has a bit of everything, but it’s the character of the place and the people that really make it. I was thrilled to be involved in Feel Full of Fife.
“Hopefully, the campaign inspires people to come and see what makes this part of Scotland so special and leave with a little bit of that feeling themselves.”
The campaign celebrates the breadth of experiences on offer across the region from its vibrant coastal communities and independent food businesses to its cultural attractions and sporting destinations.
The film’s hero showcases the diversity of experiences on offer from fresh, locally produced food, picturesque golden beaches and craggy coastlines to wild saunas, cultural festivals and outdoor adventures.
Featuring locations from across the region, the campaign demonstrates why Fife has something for everyone, from golf in St Andrews, to history and heritage in Dunfermline, and cycling routes with incredible views and the best refreshment stops.
The TV advert will run for four weeks, supported by a programme of social media advertising that will continue throughout next year to maintain awareness and inspire future visits.
Councillor Altany Craik, spokesperson for finance, economy and strategic planning, said: “Tourism is a priority sector for Fife, and visitor figures have been growing year on year right across the Kingdom.
“This new campaign is an ideal opportunity to reach potential visitors and give them inspiration about everything there is to see and do here and why they should come and see Fife for themselves.”
