Bass player Guy Berryman was born in Kirkcaldy and grew up near Beveridge Park in the town.
He moved to Kent around the age of 12, went on enrol at college where he met one Chris Martin.

Jackie Leven remains one of Scotland's most criminally under-rated and overlooked singer-songwriters.
A prolific writer, his music was mesmerising and powerful, and rooted in his Fife upbringing.
Hide fronted new wave outfit Doll By Doll before beginning a solo career.
In his later years he teamed up with fellow Fifer Ian Rankin for a record and tour, playing at the Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy.
