Scott Aarssen was named defenceman of the year and the team’s unsung hero.

Mike Cazzola - one of the stand out skaters in a disappointing season - was named forward of the year, and he also won the fans’ player of the year.

Bari McKenzie was named best British player for the second season in a row, while Danick Gauthier and Tim Crowder shared the title of top points scorer.

Defenceman James Isaacs won most improved player, while the players’ player of the year was netminder Adam Morrison.

The Mirror of Merit Trophy – run by the Fife Free Press – was being led by Adam Morrison at the time the season ended
