Fife tennis club bids to light up courts

An application has been submitted to Fife Council for the installation of new floodlights at the tennis courts in Duffus Park, Carslogie Road in Cupar.

Duffus Tennis Club submitted the plan. It wants to put 16 LED floodlights across all three of its courts.

The plan has been designed to met the Lawn Tennis Association's minimum standards of lighting and it hopes to improve lighting and safety for late night matches.

Fife Council will consider the application later next month.
