Cora is from a performing family as mum was a dancer, studied ballet and now entertains at children’s parties, and this encouragement allowed her to study music production at Edinburgh College.

Covid has stalled all promotions, and the single and more have been put on hold till now having been recorded since last March for a June release – but with no public this was impossible.

Musically her writing and virtual events have continued though, and we saw her on Auld Lang Zoom to celebrate Robert Burns with a video release for Ae Fond Kiss.

She performed this for the project with her band who are all in place with guitar, violin, keyboards, and drums.

Cora studied acting too and this led to a run at the Free Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her one woman show Object Of Desire, a story of 1950’s relationships with music and movement.

The acclaimed show may even return in some form as the themes more than resonate today.

Her first single then is Comfortable Love with an enchanting video with harmonies creating a peaceful loving atmosphere and do watch out her, she is going places.

Carl Williams lives in Leven, and when he is not causing divots on the Leven golf courses, he is teaching drums online.

A world champion pipe band drummer he also moonlights in several bands including Danny Burton Band based in Chesterfield.

Danny fronts the band and with no touring planned until 2022 they have been busy writing and recording as a creative outlet. Impressive when live Danny has been collaborating with Aaron Brown for his debut album and sharing lyrics for this new Night And Day album.

A themed album which loosely can be deemed a concept album it explores a new direction and can easily be heard in one sitting.

One year on from his alcohol addictions the album draws a line over this and can be a form of therapy through songs like I’m cured and Alcohol. Celebratory too then and more soulful than rock it is time to move on yet no opportunity to tour the new release.

This week the new single All These Things I Do is released and may become part of a new project as more material is being written and recorded as Danny is able to record all parts himself and even produce videos to promote learning new skills along the way.
