Blackheart Market returns to Kirkcaldy this weekend
Horror fans, gothic fashionistas and lovers of the macabre are in for a Halloween-inspired treat this weekend as Blackheart Market returns to Kirkcaldy’s Mercat Shopping Centre.
Stallholders will be selling handmade prints, clothes and pins inspired by horror favourites including Scream’s Ghostface, Child’s Play’s Chucky, Michael Myers and Nightmare on Elm Street’s, Freddy Krueger. There will also be gift opportunities themed around modern icons, such as Art the Clown from Terrifier.

Spooky fashion and alternative-style jewellery will be available, along with handmade horror-themed candles, crystal crafts, gothic home accents and ethical taxidermy.
Previous events have drawn large crowds, and organisers have advised arriving early for the best chance of grabbing items likely found nowhere else on the high street. For one day only, Kirkcaldy will become a haven for those with dark and alternative passions.
Blackheart Market will take place on Saturday, October 17, from 11am to 5pm. Entry is free and no tickets are needed.
