And once you find something you like, he will measure up, uplift the old flooring, supply and fit and dispose of all waste in an ethical way.

Next up is price. Stuart can buy from suppliers to offer regular discount deals – for example, January’s offer included a full living room supplied and fitted for £220, a hall stair and landing for £300 and bathroom for just £80. That includes underlay and door bars, too.

But all year round he offers the best price he can, from budget-friendly unbranded ranges to Karndean, Amtico, Lewis Abbott and more. And if you visit his showroom, he not only offers all the floor coverings you could wish but a range of cleaning products, rugs and even tools for the keen DIY-er.

Working for the environment

Over the last few years the company has become more conscious of its carbon foot print and after lots of hard work and connecting with the right people, all the old flooring and vinyl he lifts is repurposed into horse arena flooring, and shipped around the world! “We haven’t sent any flooring to landfill since March 2024,” Stuart added, “It’s something we are really proud of.”
