From performing at the O2 and Wembley to dancing on stage at Fife's biggest panto
It must be quite a challenge to audition for Fife’s biggest pantomime.
Undaunted, Louise Andree Douglas-Mirza will soon take to the famous Alhambra Theatre stage as Tink in The Further Pantomime Adventure Of Peter Pan
She trained in acting here in Kirkcaldy but studied dance in London before being hired as choreographer for many events.
Returning to Scotland Louise was impressed with the quality of amateur dramatics in Fife and loves the big stage in places like Bowhouse in St Monans. Being ever busy she has just finished a season with ADAMS (Anstruther and District Amateur Musical Society) and has signed up to MAOS (Markinch Amateur Operatic Society) for Addams Family musical scheduled for March 2027.

As a dancer for years in panto, it all started in Dunfermline when she was aged 10 performing with Rocket, from Gladiators TV show, and to return has always been her ambition.
After dancing at the O2 and Wembley stadium in London this homecoming was enhanced by the warm welcome given to her on meeting the Alhambra staff and cast.
Peter Pan is not new to Louise though having played Tinkerbell before and as Tigerlily at Eastwood Park in Glasgow.
This year, working in panto will be a diversion for her as normal festive activities involve her magic show which has taken her all over the world and to the West End. Joining the Magic Circle was a joy, and she was invited to be part of the Magic Circle Inner Circle.
She cites Ben Hart as her magic hero but didn’t see him at this years Fringe as she was working in a summer panto in Lanarkshire with Ian ‘Sheepie’ Smith who coincidently returns to the Alhambra this year as Smee.
The Further Pantomime Adventure Of Peter Pan also stars Gary Morrison as Mrs. Hook, James McAnerney as Captain Hook, and also features Megan-Beth Pattie as Angela, Kevin Macleod as Mr. Darling & The Chief, Keiran Lynch as Peter Pan.
The show runs from December 8-29 with tickets from Alhambra Dunfermline.
