New community bank branch for Cupar
Kingdom Community Bank (KCB) has opened its brand-new branch in Cupar. Officially opened by Provost Jim Leishman on Tuesday 8 th September, the new branch is testament to their commitment to provide accessible, face-to-face financial services across Fife.
The opening event saw attendance from a wide range of local people, including credit union members, KCB staff and directors, elected members, and Fife Council employees.
Provost Leishman cut the ribbon of the new branch with Chief Executive Sofia Dogan.
The new branch was created as part of the merger with North East Fife Credit Union. KCB has invested in refurbishing the former premises, bringing them up to the same high standard as its other branches, creating a welcoming environment and improved facilities for both members and staff.

The investment means KCB can maintain a local branch presence in Cupar, giving members the opportunity to speak to its team face-to-face and access support in their local community.
Sofia Dogan, Chief Executive of Kingdom Community Bank said “At a time when many financial providers are reducing their number of branches, we have invested in local access to ensure our members continue to have a place where they can meet with staff, ask questions, and get support with their finances.”
