New yoga space opens in St Andrews
A St Andrews yoga teacher Sarah Brannen is celebrating the launch of her new dedicated yoga space with an open day this weekend.
Sarah Brennan is opening SkyLight Yoga Space at St Leonard’s Church Hall and will throw open the doors to all this Saturday.

After more than a decade of teaching in shared spaces around St Andrews, Sarah has created a space of her own where people can practice, learn, connect, and grow together with her Warm Hearts Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga classes.
“I’ve dreamed of having a dedicated space for yoga in St Andrews for many years,” says Sarah.
“SkyLight brings together the things that I think are really important to a yoga practice: the space, the teacher and the community.”
Sarah has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years and teaching since 2013. Her classes now range from baby and children’s yoga through to Everyday Yoga and traditional Ashtanga with a growing Mysore programme.
She is passionate about making yoga accessible while still respecting its roots and traditions.
The SkyLight Yoga Space open day on Saturday (September 19) will offer a chance to look around the new space, meet Sarah and try a selection of short taster classes.
There will also be time to chat over tea and cake and find out more about the classes, the community, and future plans for the space.
The open day runs from 10am-4pm, with taster sessions available to book for £2. Visitors are also welcome to drop in between 12.30-1.45pm for tea, cake and a look around, even if they don’t want to take part in a class.
“I’d love people to come along whether they’ve been practicing yoga for years or have never stepped onto a yoga mat before,” says Sarah.
“This is a space where you can come as you are, be curious and explore what yoga has to offer.”
SkyLight Yoga Space is in St Leonard’s Church Hall, Hepburn Gardens, St Andrews.
