A man who resisted arrest by police in a Fife street has had his sentence deferred for six months.

Christopher Syme, of West High Street, Buckhaven, appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Syme, 43 admitted on April 1, 2021 at College Street, Buckhaven he resisted, obstructed or hindered three police officers in the execution of their duty and tried to leave the scene while arrest procedures were in progress, flailing his arms and throwing himself to the ground to prevent being handcuffed.
