Three weeks of works planned for busy Kirkcaldy to Kinghorn route
Works will be carried out on the A921 Kinghorn Road from Monday, September 21 to Thursday, October 8, subject to the weather – a key route linking Kirkcaldy and Kinghorn.
To allow the work to be carried out safely, the road will be closed between 9am and 3pm each day.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place outside these hours.
A signed diversion route will be in place via the A921, A909, B9157 and A921.
Road users are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time for journeys during the closure period.
Access for emergency services and residents on Linton Court will be maintained wherever it is safe to do so.
During the road closure a bus shuttle service will be available.
School buses will not be affected by the road closure.
