Cammie Ross' brace just not enough for East Fife against Ross County
Dick Campbell expressed his delight for Cammie Ross after the forward finally got on the scoresheet for East Fife.
The manager’s first summer signing, he netted a brace against Ross County last Saturday at Bayview.
Sadly though for the Fifers, that wasn’t enough to earn three points as the hosts were force to settle for a third successive Scottish League One draw.
Kieran Phillips levelled things up in stoppage-time after Ross’ double had notched East Fife in front following an own goal opener.

“I’m delighted because I was running out of patience,” Campbell joked when asked if he was pleased for first summer signing Ross.
“I told him today was his last chance, if he didn’t score then he wasn’t playing. But he has done me in by scoring not one but two! That’s what he was needing."
Reviewing the 2-2 draw, manager Campbell couldn’t hide frustration after his side conceded another late goal.
East Fife have enjoyed a decent start to the season – but it could have been even better.

He said: “It should have been more (than a point). Ross County are the best team that we have played. But my players gave me everything today.
"We’ve now had four games this season were we’ve given up an advantage after 90 minutes. We have to learn to manage things.”
The Fifers travel to Queen of the South this Saturday on league duty. On Tuesday, they face Clyde in the KDM Evolution Trophy league phase.
