Dougie Imrie on Raith Rovers' costly six-month wait for away league win
Dougie Imrie admits that Raith Rovers not having won an away William Hill Championship match since way back on September 6 last year “isn’t great reading”.
The Stark’s Park gaffer – who can’t be held accountable for some of the on the road defeats since as he only took over in November – has at least overseen a much more impressive home record which has seen Rovers win five, draw one and lose only two of their Kirkcaldy fixtures under him in league and cups.

Imrie said: “Our home form has been pretty good to us and obviously that's what we'll be relying on between now and the end of the season.
"It's the away form, not just for me, obviously the previous manager as well.
"No win away from home since the sixth of September, which isn't great. It's not great reading.
"Five goals conceded in the last two games as well. We did have the second best defensive record in the league but I think that's gone now.
"But that's how close the league is in terms of scoring goals against. We could be scoring more goals, we know that. That's been the Achilles heel all season.
"So it's an area that we'll have to look at over the summer. I'm only in the door, I've only had a window to try and work things and get in more of my own players and what I look for in a team and personnel and individuals and how I see the game.
"So there's a lot of work to be done. But the most important thing is making sure that this fantastic football club is still in the Championship come next season.”
