Wet Wet Wet 40th anniversary tour of Popped In Sold Out: how to get Fife show tickets

Scottish band Wet Wet Wet have announced a Fife gig as part of a huge tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their classic debut album.

They play the Alhambra Theatre, Dunfermline, on February 2024, 2027, but tickets go on sale from Friday (April 17) at 190:00am. Detail here. Wet Wet Wet are no strangers to the Alhambra, but demand for tickets for this show is expected to be high as they celebrate a landmark anniversary.

Popped In, Souled Out marked their debut and launched one of the UK’s most successful pop careers. Released in 1987, it featured their debut hit Wishing I Was Lucky and also delivered huge songs such as Sweet Little Mystery, Angel Eyes (Home and Away) and Temptation.

In 1997, the band released the album 10 and then split for the first time, reforming in 2004.

While original frontman Marti Pellow has long since gone on to forge a solo career and appear in the West End, the group is still going strong.

In 2018, it unveiled Kevin Simm, former Liberty X member and 2016 winner of The Voice, as their new lead singer. They undertook a hinge UK last year and have been playing more intimate shows this year to support their latest album, Strings Attached, which sees the Scottish sweethearts revisit their songbook in a stripped back style.
